Guess what--the businesses won't be paying this--it will be passed onto the customers--the residents of Fall River!
The people who live in this city will get the shaft--again!!!

Alleviate finances! really! Tell mayor Bob to stop hiring people for 70 80 and $90,000 a year. Tell him to get rid of his "driver" (who is making over $50,000 a year) and drive himself to work or better yet, take the bloody bus! And thats just to start...

An effort is being made to alleviate the cities finances. I've read the comments and see some sense in all. I feel all should be taxed but agree that a three-year phase in is more pallatable. As a renter I'm sure I'll be paying some in a rent increase.

They dung up davol street for water lines and never paved it. A dirt road is a lot smoother then that. Would love to send the city my repair bill for the car. Then they can deduct from the "runoff charge" and will call it even!

I think its completely fair. Just as fair as my being able to charge the city of Fall River $1 for everytime I hit a pothole driving their fair city streets!!! These potholes are created by the excess rain fall that my "runoff charge" goes towards...
